Thanks for the useful explanation of the verb avoir. I previously mentioned that I have not taken French since college some 30+ years ago now. I remember very little, but as I was listening to your video and reviewing the uses, some of it sparked a little light!

I am enjoying these lessons and the more I review, the more I remember. The more I remember, the more tempted I am to find my old college French language book. (I said tempted.... I haven't quite done it yet!) Would you recommend that I get out my old book? I would assume that the French language hasn't changed a whole lot in 30 years, but I have been wrong before. :)

I have been wanting to learn the French language besides English and Spanish. With your article and video can now practice speaking the French language as you suggested. This is so exciting and can’t wait to share my French learning with my friend in Canada who speaks more French than English. I will be following your blog for new phrases and words to learn.
