French can be hard no matter what you hear. The pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary...it can take time to learn it and master it all.

There are many resources to learn French. Some of them are even free which is great when money is tight.

Answering your question, you could try Duolingo, Memrise, or Babbel. They're all simple and easy to use.

Wow, this is good. You have an array of ways that I can make use of to learn how to speak French from the comfort of my home. As a student, we were thought a little bit of french but it's that little that I know. I want to learn some more. I think I would try the video course from stone and also get one or two books. For me, its a perfect replacement for english language... i have been learning french for sometime and its has really been hard for me but, i think this would help me leart more convienlty

I think French is one of the most beautiful sounding languages. I've always been interested in learning more about the culture and as well as learning the language. You provided wonderful suggestions for beginners (like myself)! I never would have thought to incorporate a podcast, YouTube, or even netflix for that matter. Plus, being able to learn on the go with your phone is a game changer since our cell phones are with us constantly. Do you have an app suggestion to learn French? Thanks for sharing such valuable information for those looking to learn the language. :-)
