Hi, Jamie,

I highly recommend you try it out. If you're not a beginner, then it shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, I'd recommend you try another platform first.

Thanks for commenting.

I will definitely like to join especially because this platform unlike the many others that I have seen before are very well structured and there is an outline that they seem to look out to focus on. My French has improved in a way bit I want to learn the more complex part of the language.

In reply to Erick.

Hi, Erick,

Great advice there. I think digital programs/online learning are great to create a foundation and then go from there. Once you start losing your fears and gaining confidence by speaking with native speakers, you're bound to succeed.

I think this applies to all languages, not just French.

Thanks for commenting.

As a language teacher I can speak from experience. Online/digital language learning programs are worthwhile to dip our toes into learning a language. But if we really want to reach a conversational level in any language nothing replaces actually using the language in person with another human being.

I had no experience teaching languages a couple of years ago, yet I ran successful private lessons with people who wanted to learn English and Spanish. Instead of learning grammar, we had full-blown discussions in the languages. Mistakes were made, but mistakes is how we learn best. At the end of our time together, my English students had improved their confidence the language. And my Spanish student went from knowing no Spanish to holding a proper conversation, confidently.

Speak the language in person and you're bound to succeed. Make mistakes. Lose your fear.
