Thanks for your post. I enjoy learning about real people and seeing all the obstacles they climb over in life to make something of themselves. Some of the experiences these women have experienced has not stopped them form reaching their goals. Learning a new language would be a goal to pursue.

Yes, Brigitte Bardot has always been a controversial figure. I heard that she was fined by the French government not too long ago for hate speech against immigrants or something like that.

Aw, Catherine Deneuve is one of the best actresses out there for sure. I do agree with your description.

I grew up during an era when Brigitte Bardot was always in the news and she was certainly one of my idols during my teenage years. After she retired from acting, she was almost a recluse, but her work as an animal activist is very commendable.

The French actress that I really look up to, is Catherine Deneuve. To me she is absolutely outstanding, in her classic beauty and sophistication and her charitable work.

Thank you for bringing to life some of the best French actresses.
