I’m glad you found this useful.
We must understand that although ads may be annoying, this is usually the only way that free sites make money. We could pay a membership, but I could live with ads as long as I can find language partners and/or they don’t have any viruses.
In regard to contacting them. have you tried clearing your cache? I just sent them a message and it went through.

Thank you for the review.
But recent changes have included some annoying features / bugs:
Can not contact them the code field can contain the full code shown.
The ads at bottom are taking too much space. No one will implant ads like that. But very interesting site to learn.

Hey, Ann,

Yes, unfortunately finding a native speaker to practice with on a regular basis is easier said than done. I prefer face-to-face interaction, but sometimes we have to resort to apps or websites instead.

Out of all the apps/websites I've tried, this is the one I have been most successful with. Give it a try, and I'm sure you'll find someone to practice with.

I'm delighted with this idea. I have also been learning French and I think I have reached the point in which I can interact with locals. But finding native speakers that are whiling to devote time is not as easy as I initially thought. I would have liked to chat and communicate within an in-built system inside Conversation Exchange. But Zoom is ok for me. I'll give this a try. Thank you!

This is a truly interesting review and a really good idea. I wish I thought of it!

I have passed this information to my Mum because she studies french but has a limited amount of people that she can practice with so this will be perfect.

As you mentioned it is a shame you cannot link with other video sites as that would be a great combination in a face to face conversation.
