Well, I think that really depends on the person. I’ve heard that French is at a medium level of difficulty for English native speakers. 

I hope you give French another chance. But just like you mentioned, you can try Busuu for another language you prefer, Spanish included.

I love that this program offers more than just French. It’s never too late in life to learn a new language. I also really like that you don’t have to learn an entire language from start. You can choose different levels like just for basic travel, or business, or you can learn the entire language. This is a really cool feature.

If you would like to retake French, I recommend you try out Busuu to determine your level and then go from there.

italki is a good option if you want to take classes with a real teacher. Teachers have different rates and teaching styles, so it’s also worth a shot.

So if Busuu is good for starting, but lacking for more advanced learners, which course would you suggest I look at for later? You mentioned Italki, but is it just because they are better priced for the live lessons?
