Hi, Lenka,

I know, right? We can use Instagram to have fun and learn at the same time.

I agree with you. We have to learn the real French (or any other language) people speak on the street, not ignoring grammar rules, of course. We have to learn both.

Thanks for commenting. Glad you liked it.

Hi, Christine,

Yes, we can also use Instagram to learn a language. It's one of the apps I use the most, so it's great to benefit from using it.

There is a little bit of everything for everyone. It's just a matter of searching.

I would never have thought one can learn French (or any other language on Instagram! I still consider Instagram a platform for sharing pictures and stories but open my eyes in this sense. It's great to see that there are so many French teachers there.
Out of the accounts you recommend, I like the Street French most. After all, learning the language people really speak is the best, much better than just learning with a textbook. Thank you for this overview!

Wow! I seriously had no idea that you could learn French on Instagram! I use Instagram and follow several accounts, but it had never occurred to me that it was used for courses as well. This makes me rethink the use of Instagram, perhaps I should get more active on it :-)
There are several courses I like, for example, the one of French with Handsome, it looks like a fun and interactive course. Streetfrench also looks great. For me, I would pick youronlinefrenchteacher, since it is an advanced level, and I would like to practice and refresh my French. I have known it since I was 8, but I have gotten rusty, so I need to freshen it up.
I also like that some accounts focus on different learning abilities. Some people are auditive, others are visual, and therefore frenchacking is great for visual learners.
